Help with courtly graces?

There's quite a lot that I need to know about royalty, nobility, etc. One of the things i was wondering, is who bows or curtsies to whom? Will a retired king or queen bow to the reigning king and queen? and would you address the retired king or queen as, 'Your Excellency'? any information about feudal systems would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
